THE ROLE

As a Mobile Service Technician you will be out on the road (once we know you have the skills and tools to solve the problems) in and out of client sites and our workshop doing what you do best - fixing mechanical problems.

Most of our work is repairing and servicing plant and machinery in the field in a breakdown situation or undertaking new installation work on a variety of plant equipment.

People enjoy the work because its not repetitive, you are out and about and you get to use your brain and troubleshoot problems. You get a variety of different customers so you're not tied to working with the same crew, doing the same thing day in and day out.

We'll give you a fully maintained service vehicle and naturally as much training as we can. This role is best suited if you are living in Whyalla and are available for overtime as well as participating in a 24-hour on call roster in time - but don't worry you get paid extra for that!

To be considered for this position you will have:

• Ideally a trade or equivalent experience in the mechanical field
• Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
• A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
• Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and problem solve
• A current Manual / LR or MR Driver's Licence
• Flexibility with working hours as after hours availability is a pre-requisite for mobile service work.
