Congratulations to Gus on 35 Years at Pirtek

Congratulations Gus on celebrating 35 years with Pirtek Muswellbrook.

In 1989, Gus began his journey with Pirtek Muswellbrook as a Centre Assistant, responsible for cleaning the workshop and stock management. During this period, the business was under the ownership of John & Ann Mullin. Gus says “The wisdom imparted by John during those early days has greatly contributed to the current success of Pirtek Muswellbrook”.

In that same year Gus started with Pirtek he also married his wife Sharon, who has been actively involved in the business since they purchased it in 2006. Together they have continued to build Pirtek Muswellbrook on those early foundations of success and remain strong advocates of the Pirtek way, taking particular pride in presentation of the Pirtek brand.

As a Muswellbrook local, Gus is also passionate about giving back to the community. Having ownership of the company has given him the opportunity to support the local community through sponsoring charity and community events and all levels of sports from grassroots through to senior teams and emerging professional players.

Over the years, Gus has witnessed numerous changes within the business and has experienced countless wonderful memories. Among the most cherished are the group events, including conferences and sporting events such as the V8 Supercars. Sharing these experiences with his family has made them even more unforgettable.
