Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

PIRTEK has partnered with the Prostate Cancer Foundation Australia (PCFA) to raise awareness of prostate cancer through various means. PIRTEK’s reach to the predominantly male industrial marketplace provides substantial opportunities to leverage the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia’s message to the organisation’s staff, customers, suppliers and sponsorship associations.

Each year more than 20,000 men and their families feel the impact of diagnosis of prostate cancer. Each year over 3,000 men will lose their lives to prostate cancer -­ more than the number of women who die from breast cancer annually.

The first objective of the PIRTEK/Prostate Cancer Foundation partnership is to fundraise in support of the work of the PCFA. All funds raised for the PCFA by PIRTEK activities will fund vital projects such as innovative research for the prevention, cause, diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer, building a vibrant supporter network and ensuring quality care for men with prostate cancer.

The other significant area of the PIRTEK/Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia partnership is our commitment to raise awareness of prostate cancer through not only our own staff, but also to the people involved with the PIRTEK business on a daily basis.

PIRTEK strives to deliver interesting and exciting programs to raise awareness of prostate cancer whilst also raising much needed funds for the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia.
