Temperature Range
• -54ºC up to +230ºC.
• For safety, the working pressure should be reduced at temperatures above:
+121ºC to +200ºC - 85 percent of the W.P
+201ºC up to +230ºC - 80 percent of the W.P
Safety Factor
4:1
Vacuum Rating
• -0.9 Bar (26.7 in.-Hg) -3 to -12
• -0.4 Bar (12 in-Hg) -16 N.B. Use of an internal support coil for hoses -6 and larger is recommended for tube support where continuous or extended service at hight temperature together with low or negative presure is expected.
Application
Medium pressure non-contaminating hose for use with a broad range of chemical resistance. It is inert to most commercial chemicals/acids/alcohols/coolants/elastomers/petroleum products/solvents/vinyls/synthetic lubricants/hydraulic fluids/steam and compressed air. Not suitable for cold and hot (including steam) cycling as can cause the tube to crack. Inner liner is non-conductive - do not use with high velocity fluids and gases. A conductive tubed PTFE hose product is necessary.
Features
Withstands continuous flexing/vibration or impulse. Easy to clean and sterilize and absorbs no moisture hot or cold. High flow rates with low coefficient of friction and anti-stiick properties. PTFE hose resists deterioration and is impervious to weather with a long life expectancy when applied within its temperature and pressure ratings.
Specifications/Performance
Minimum bend radius quoted is based on static applications - for dynamic applications multiply the bend radius by 1.25. Meets or exceeds the performance specification of SAE 100R14A.
